Distinguished Visiting Chair, 2005-2015

Over a ten year period from 2005-15, the Centre hosted a Distinguished Visiting Chair in Australian Studies, with the generous support of the Australian Government, Department of Education. The Chair was a unique opportunity for leading Australian scholars in a variety of disciplines to share their expertise with Danish graduates students, and to experience the Australian Studies scholarly environment in Europe. During that time, the Centre hosted many scholarly events, seminars and workshops in collaboration with our visitors, forging valuable linkages for future partnerships. Although the formal funding period for the visiting chair has now concluded, the Centre continues to welcome occasional visitors for a variety of purposes.
